Matthew 28:19 and the Mission of the WELS

Abstract

This paper is a detailed examination of the WELS Mission Statement in light of Matthew 28:19. It was written to respond to questions as to whether the current mission statement accurately reflects the doctrines of Scripture and the doctrinal statements of the WELS, or if it has been influenced by the positions of other church bodies.
