dc.description.abstract | Professor John Brug writes this article in response to a 2000 article by a CLC pastor concerning the differences in doctrine between the WELS and the CLC. To accomplish his goal, Brug reviews the points of agreement reached in 1987-1990 CLC-WELS-ELS talks, and contrasts them with statements propagated by the CLC in 2001.
