Professor Braun currently serves as a Professor of Theology at Wisconsin Lutheran College. He describes this work as follows: “In summer 2007, my colleagues in the History Department of Wisconsin Lutheran College—Drs. Glen Thompson and Paul Beck and Profs. Patrick Steele and Aaron Palmer—sought to define what constitutes a Lutheran perspective on history. In the course of their conversations they enlisted the help of my fellow members of the Religious Studies Department—Drs. Paul Lehninger, and Joel Pless, Prof. Charles Cortright—and me for assistance. The result was an eight-point summation of a distinctively Lutheran viewpoint on history. With minor adjustments, I use their outline as the skeleton for this presentation.”en_US
