Abstract

At a 2001 retreat for the WELS Board of World Missions, E. H. Wendland encourages eager mission zeal as he recounts the blessings of the past (when he was part of the beginning board and as a missionary), as he remarks on present blessings of mission work, worker training, and humanitarian efforts, and as he sees the huge variety of opportunities in the future for church planting, watering, fertilizing, and harvesting.
