    Abstract
At the Nebraska/Colorado Missionaries’ Conference in 1984, E. H. Wendland answers two questions: How was Martin Luther an evangelist? and How are Luther’s methods applied today? He addressed concerns that the reformers and Luther were not eager for missions and he shows that good mission work is supported by the unshakeable convictions of the Bible. Lutheran mission work are based on the three solas of the Reformation: Sola Scriptura, Sola Gratia, and Sola Fide.
