An Evaluation of Current Missiology
Abstract
E. H. Wendland evaluates missiology trends from the World Council of Churches, Evangelicals, Roman Catholicism, and the Independent Church Movement. He touches upon a number of topics including Liberation Theology, the Church Growth Movement, and contextualization. He summarizes our church body’s mission efforts and comments on its Scriptural/Doctrinal roots which give our missions a unique emphasis of training national workers, printing religious literature, and stressing qualitative rather quantitative mission work.
