AIDS in Central Africa – Is There Hope?
Abstract
E.H. Wendland and Katherine Wendland give a thorough report on efforts to minister to and help those who suffer from AIDS especially with those in our missionary efforts in Zambia. They describe the AIDS situation in Zambia and, briefly, in North America while grappling with the complexities of those efforts. Through numerous interviews they explore government efforts, cultural aspects, and church body efforts in the fight against the disease. It is a detailed history compounded with much love and compassion. “Therefore, as we have opportunity; let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers” (Galatians 6:10).
