A Study of WELS Students and Campus Ministry

Abstract

Why don’t WELS college students join WELS campus ministries? This question is one that many people may be asking. Instead of joining our campus ministries many of them end up joining non-WELS heterodox Christian groups. This thesis will seek to find out why this is, first through looking at the non-WELS groups, then analyzing two surveys that were sent to our college students in our WELS campus ministries and seniors in our WELS high schools. The surveys contained questions to get a glimpse of where our students are doctrinally on certain points.
