Abstract
Pastor Donald Pieper, in his paper for the 2007 Arizona-California District, reviews the history of the context behind Article X of the Formula of Concord covering the Augsburg and Leipzig Interims thoroughly. He then examines the article and makes applications for the WELS especially in view of the hymnal project.
