Abstract

In this Wisconsin Lutheran Quarterly article, Professor Nass reviews the events of the 2001 convention of the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod. At this convention a new synod president was elected, Rev. Gerald Kieschnick. This convention was filled with other momentous decisions and Prof. Nass considers whether the Missouri Synod is following in the confessional path of C.F.W. Walther.
