Presented to the South Eastern Wisconsin District of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod At Pastor's Conference in Indianapolis, Indiana January 12, 1999.en_US
In his 1999 Conference paper, Michael Zarling carefully examines the biblical background of Article X of the Formula of Concord especially the arguments made on the side of Melanchthon and his advocating the changing of behavior in view of the Catholic demands. He then briefly summarizes the article and makes applications to today’s adiaphora issues such as worship and liturgies.
