Lutheran Mission Work Among Haitian Vodousants

Abstract

The following research article is divided into two parts. First, a brief synopsis of Vodou (Voodoo) as practiced in Haiti is provided. This is followed by an anthropological analysis of the religion and practical applications for Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS) mission workers in this Caribbean country.
