    Abstract
In our Bible there are 66 books which are the Word of God. But how can we be so sure? Is it because the church compiled the books? The canon was established through Scripture itself because it has shown itself to be inherent and authoritative. The Old Testament books, the Torah, the Prophets, and the Writings, claim to be the Word of God. Jesus affirms this through his frequent use of the Old Testament books. The New Testament is the Word of God because it was written by his inspired Apostles. We know these books are the Word of God because they speak together in one voice, they do not have a differing spirit, but a spirit of God.
