The Circuit Pastor as Advisor to Congregations

Abstract

A result of a survey conducted with pastors and laymen, this paper communicates the popular views of what a circuit pastor does and what those surveyed think a circuit pastor should do. The author shows that the position of circuit pastor has a biblical and historical basis.
