Ministry: A Study
Abstract
The Doctrine of Ministry is a uniquely Lutheran doctrine involving the universal priesthood and the public ministry. Professor Dobberstein offers clarity in this compilation of essays. Dobberstein lays the foundation for practical aspects of the doctrine of ministry by examining ministry in the New Testament, Luther on ministry, and ministry issues surrounding the Synodical Conference. The last two essays look at the practical impact of this doctrine on the family, congregation, and synod in our changing world and in the new millennium.
