    Abstract
It’s common knowledge that people can burn out from their daily job, but is it really possible for people to burn out from church work? This essay offers both a layman’s and a pastor’s perspective on burnout. Together they examine various causes of burnout and then offer both practical advice on avoiding burnout as well as some biblically based solutions to the problem of burnout. Finally, Mr. Daley, a layman, offers insight into how a lay person could become burned out from church work.
