Reaching Muslims With the Gospel

Abstract

They may be your neighbors or your coworkers, but no matter what the context, they are people in desperate need of hearing about their Savior. Muslims are a unique group in the category of “all people” with whom the Gospel message needs to be shared. The ways of doing so, however, can often seem challenging. In this paper, Cloute first discusses the barriers that make it difficult for a Christian to share his faith with Muslims. He stresses the importance of taking time to learn about the Muslim faith and the things that distinguish Muslim culture from typical Western culture. He then advises that when ministering to Muslims one should be patient as one builds relationships, simply speak the truth in love, letting the Holy Spirit do his work, and live in a way that continually displays Christ’s love in your life.
