Every hotel room has a Bible donated by a group called the Gideons. But who is this group and what is their motivation for placing a Bible in every hotel room? This paper offers the historical background to the Bible-based organization of Christian businessmen. It also provides details of their threefold mission, and how it apples to church fellowship principals.
